Rick and Morty: The Anime Sets Premiere at DoKomi 2024

Rick and Morty fans have something new to look forward to this year as “Rick and Morty: The Anime” gears up for its debut on Adult Swim. This spinoff anime series will offer a fresh perspective on the beloved multiverse duo, with anticipation building for its unique take on the characters.

Excitement peaked with the announcement that “Rick and Morty: The Anime” will premiere its first episode at a special screening during the DoKomi 2024 convention in Düsseldorf, Germany. Organized in collaboration with Warner TV and Adult Swim UK, the exclusive preview is scheduled for Sunday, June 30th, marking the series’ global unveiling to fans.

Although an official release date for other regions is yet to be confirmed, Adult Swim has hinted at a summer or later release. Directed and written by Takashi Sano of Telecom Animation Film, the anime will span ten episodes and feature production by Sola Entertainment. The creative team includes producers Maki Nagano, Max Nishi, and Takenari Maeda, with Jason DeMarco and Joseph Chou as executive producers.
