Fans of Makeine: Too Many Losing Heroines! have reason to celebrate as the highly anticipated second season of the popular rom-com anime was officially announced today. The reveal took place during a fan event, “Tsuwabuki High School Literature Club Extracurricular Activities,” held in Akishima. The event was headlined by core cast members Shuichiro Umeda, Hikaru Toono, Shion Wakayama, Momoka Terasawa, and Minami Tanaka.
Based on the light novels by Takibi Amamori and Imigimuru, the anime was directed by Shotaro Kitamura, known for his work on Kaguya-sama: Love is War, at studio A-1 Pictures. The series features composition by Masahiro Yokotani, character designs by Tetsuya Kawakami, and music by Kana Utatane, who worked on Akebi’s Sailor Uniform.
