April 2025 marks the 30th anniversary of Mobile Suit Gundam Wing, a pivotal anime series for many fans. To celebrate this milestone, a special anniversary project has been launched, featuring new artwork, a dedicated website, and a range of exclusive merchandise.
The key visual for the anniversary campaign showcases iconic characters Heero Yuy and Relena Peacecraft in celebratory attire.
One of the highlights of the anniversary project is the upcoming release of a three-volume art book titled Mobile Suit Gundam W & Endless Waltz Official Book -Operation 30th-. This comprehensive collection will include storyboards, character designs, and other behind-the-scenes material. It will also feature interviews and roundtable discussions with the cast. The book is set to be released on December 12, with pre-orders now available.
The official Gundam Wing social media account has also been revamped for the occasion, providing fans with updates throughout the anniversary year.
In addition to the art book, a new website has launched, consolidating all the latest information about Gundam Wing. The site also lists a variety of merchandise, including figures, model kits, keychains, and more. Special releases include exclusive Gundam Wing metal posters from Displate, available only in the US.

The story is set in a future where mankind has colonized space and lives on orbiting colonies called “Sides.” The Earth Government, which controls these colonies, is oppressive. In response, a group of revolutionaries builds five powerful Gundam robots and plans to send them to Earth to fight for independence. Piloted by five young men, the Gundams carry the hopes of the colonies as they launch Operation Meteor to begin their battle for freedom.
