by Hazel

The official Blue Box anime accounts have announced that a second season is officially in production. While a release date has not yet been confirmed, a short video recapping key moments from the first season and a special illustration by character designer Miho Tanino were shared alongside the announcement. The illustration also celebrates the birthday of the manga’s creator, Koji Miura.

The anime, based on Miura’s manga, was directed by Yuichiro Yano (LUPIN THE 3rd PART 5) at Telecom Animation Film. The first season featured series composition by Yuko Kakihara (The Apothecary Diaries), character designs by Miho Tanino (Tower of God), and music by Takashi Omama (Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury). Netflix streamed the series during its original Japanese broadcast.
