The official website and social media accounts for the BADGIRL anime have revealed a new trailer and an updated key visual, offering fans a glimpse of two new characters joining the cast. The series, set to premiere in July 2025, promises a blend of comedy and drama.
The confirmed voice cast for BADGIRL includes:
- Yu Yutani voiced by Azusa Tachibana
- Suzuka Suzukaze voiced by Misato Matsuoka
- Rura Ruriha voiced by Miharu Hanai
- Atori Mizutori voiced by Niina Hanamiya
- Mizuka Mizutori voiced by Kaori Maeda
- Kiyoraka Sumiki voiced by Lynn
Adapted from the manga by Nikumaru, the BADGIRL anime is directed by Joji Furuta (known for SHAMAN KING) at studio Bridge. The series composition is by Shoji Yonemura (Wave, Listen to Me!), with character designs by Yuki Morimoto (Boarding School Juliet) and music by Alisa Okehazama (ONIMAI: I’m Now Your Sister).
The story centers on Yu Yutani, a first-year high school student who excels in both academics and attendance, earning the admiration of her teachers. However, Yu faces a challenge: she struggles to adopt the image of a “wicked delinquent” to capture the attention of Atori Mizutori, the stern head of the student disciplinary committee, whom she deeply admires.
