The KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World Season 3 -BONUS STAGE- OVAs will be available for streaming on Crunchyroll starting this April. The announcement was made alongside the streaming service’s lineup for this year’s Sakura-Con, where the OVAs were featured.
The KonoSuba OVAs, which debuted in Japan with a limited theatrical release in March, will include two episodes: “Red Stream Explosion!” and “Nisemono Chui!”. These OVAs were part of the theatrical screening that ran for two weeks, beginning March 14, 2025. Following the screenings, a sequel to KonoSuba Season 3 was announced. The OVAs were animated by Studio Drive, which also handled the third season of the anime.
New characters were introduced in the OVAs, serving as a parody of a traditional adventuring group. The voice cast for these new characters includes:
- Ayako Kawasumi as Luckless
- Manaka Iwami as Acua
- Rumi Okubo as Megumi
- Tetsu Inada as Ozuma Zato
KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World! is based on a light novel by Natsume Akatsuki, with illustrations by Kurone Mishima. The light novel was published by Kadokawa Shoten from October 2013 to May 2020. Originally a web manga, the series has expanded into various adaptations, including spin-offs, mobile games, and multiple anime seasons and theatrical films.
Crunchyroll currently streams all KonoSuba adaptations, including the Megumin spin-off, KonoSuba: An Explosion on This Wonderful World!
Fans can look forward to the KonoSuba -BONUS STAGE- OVAs on Crunchyroll in April.
