The collaboration between Evanescence and Devil May Cry might seem surprising at first, but it makes perfect sense given their shared dark and Gothic themes. Both the band, formed in 2003, and the Devil May Cry video game series, which launched in 2001, found popularity in the early 2000s, with a fan base that overlaps significantly. This makes their partnership a fitting match for the anime’s intense, edgy tone.
Though details about the song remain scarce, it’s confirmed that there will not be a traditional music video. Instead, a lyric video will feature exclusive scenes from the anime, offering fans a first look at footage not yet seen in trailers.
