AMC Networks’ streaming service, HIDIVE, will premiere Yandere Dark Elf, a reverse isekai romantic comedy, on April 6 as part of its Spring 2025 simulcast lineup. Based on the popular manga by Nakanosora, the series follows Hinata, a hero who returns to Earth after defeating the Demon Lord, only for his dark elf companion Mariabelle to follow him, using magic to win his affection.
The series is directed by Toshikatsu Tokoro, with a script by Yuki Takabayashi and animation by Elias. The cast includes Minami Takahashi as Mariabelle and Rie Kawamura as Hinata.
HIDIVE also announced its global expansion, now available as an ad-free monthly subscription on Prime Video Channels in the UK, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. The service has expanded its distribution in the US with CTV partners like Samsung, LG, and VIZIO. HIDIVE subscribers can access a range of anime titles, including new simulcasts like Oshi no Ko and The Eminence in Shadow.
