“Catch Me at the Ballpark” Anime Reveals Trailer, Premieres April 1

The upcoming anime Catch Me at the Ballpark (Ballpark de Tsukamaete) has revealed its first trailer at AnimeJapan 2025. The series, produced by Studio EMT Squared, will premiere in Japan on April 1, with Crunchyroll streaming it as part of their Spring 2025 lineup.

Announced in November 2024, the anime’s trailer features the opening theme “Hurray!!” by GENIC. A glimpse of the series’ voice cast includes:

Based on the ongoing manga by Tatsuro Suga, Catch Me at the Ballpark began serialization in Kodansha’s Morning magazine in September 2020. As of November 2025, the manga has 15 volumes in print.

The series blends baseball with a heartwarming love story, focusing on a gal beer vendor who, beneath her tough exterior, is a “ultra-pure-hearted girl,” navigating her life in the world of professional baseball.
