The official website for the upcoming spring 2025 TV anime The Gorilla God’s Go-To Girl has announced two new voice cast members. Nozomi Yamamoto, known for her role as Rika Jogasaki in THE IDOLM@STER CINDERELLA GIRLS, will voice Carissa, a classmate of the protagonist Sofia. Kyoka Moriya, who voiced Shiho Kano in CUE!, will play Arene, another of Sofia’s classmates.
Carissa is described as the daughter of an aristocrat with a high-handed personality who dislikes Sofia due to her closeness to Louis. Arene, on the other hand, is a shy and kind aristocrat’s daughter who struggles with taking action.
In addition, a collaboration with Go! Go! Curry will feature a special menu item, “Blessings to You Too: Gorilla God Face Curry,” available at five participating stores from April 1 to 30. Customers will also receive a special clear file with a new illustration.
The Gorilla God’s Go-To Girl will premiere in Japan on April 6, 2025, with Crunchyroll streaming the anime worldwide (excluding Japan and China). Directed by Fumitoshi Oizaki at studio Kachigarasu, the anime follows Sofia, a noblewoman blessed with the strength of the “Gorilla God,” who seeks a peaceful life despite her immense power attracting unwanted attention.
