A new chapter in the Trigun saga is coming. The upcoming anime Trigun Stargaze will continue the story of gunslinger Vash in 2026, following the events of Trigun Stampede. A teaser visual and release window were revealed via the official Trigun X feed, alongside details about the creative team.
Trigun Stampede, which centers on rookie reporter Meryl Stryfe and her partner, investigates the mystery behind the $6 million bounty on Vash’s head, only to uncover the vengeful actions of his twin brother, Million Knives.
Trigun Stargaze will be directed by Masako Sato (Haikyu!! To the Top), with series composition by Kazuyuki Fudeyasu (That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime) and scripts by Takehiko Oki. Character design will be handled by Kiyotaka Oshiyama (DEVILMAN crybaby), with animation production by Studio Orange.
The teaser visual, created by Oshiyama, features Vash holding his iconic oversized gun with the words “Existence and Pain,” offering a glimpse into the tone of the new series.
