The official X (formerly Twitter) account for the upcoming anime series Apocalypse Hotel has unveiled a fresh key visual ahead of its April 8 debut on Japanese television. More information about the characters shown will be shared during an AnimeJapan 2025 event on March 23. The voice of the protagonist, Yachiyo, Saho Shirasu, will also make an appearance at the event.
Directed by Kana Shundo (assistant director of Princess Connect! Re:Dive) at CygamesPictures, Apocalypse Hotel features a series composition by Shigeru Murakoshi (Ninja Kamui), while Izumi Takemoto’s original character designs are being adapted for animation by Natsuki Yokoyama. The series’ music is composed by Yoshiaki Fujisawa (Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation).
The story of Apocalypse Hotel is set in a post-apocalyptic world where humanity has perished and civilization has collapsed. Amid the ruins of Ginza, a historic hotel remains standing, surrounded by nature’s resurgence. The narrative takes place in this abandoned hotel, where humans no longer exist.
