Toei Animation has announced the inaugural One Piece Night at the Seattle Mariners’ T-Mobile Park, set for Tuesday, April 8, 2025. The special event will coincide with the Mariners’ game against the Houston Astros and promises exclusive merchandise and fan experiences. Highlights include a limited-edition One Piece Seattle Mariners t-shirt and a live demonstration of the One Piece Card Game at the venue.
“We’re thrilled to team up with the Seattle Mariners for One Piece Night this April,” said Lisa Yamatoya, Senior Director of Global Marketing for Toei Animation Inc. “This event is sure to be a fantastic experience for both anime and baseball fans at T-Mobile Park.” Liz McCloskey, Mariners Director of Sales Development & Group Events, added, “We’re excited to collaborate with Toei Animation to bring fans a fun new ticket special. Mariners baseball offers something for everyone, and this unique partnership is a great way to connect with our community.”
Tickets are available exclusively on the Seattle Mariners’ official website.
The One Piece event comes just after the anime’s much-anticipated return, with Egghead Part 2 set to stream on Crunchyroll starting April 6. The updated timeslot means One Piece fans can catch new episodes almost simultaneously with new manga chapters, which will also be available on Manga PLUS and the Shonen Jump app. Netflix has also confirmed it will begin streaming the series in April.
This collaboration marks the latest in a series of One Piece sports crossovers. Previous partnerships include a themed experience with the Los Angeles Lakers and a One Piece Theme Day with the Boston Red Sox, which will return in May following a successful event last year.
