Classic Stars TV Anime Set for April 5 Premiere, New Key Visual Revealed

A new key visual has been released for the upcoming original TV anime Classic Stars, showcasing the four lead characters alongside their Dis=Cord counterparts. The series is scheduled to premiere in Japan on April 5, 2025.

Directed by Hideaki Oba (Love of Kill, I’m in Love with the Villainess), the anime features a script by Shingo Nagai (High Card). Motoko Yoshida from UNISON serves as the original character designer, while Yoko Sato handles character design. Music is composed by Hitoshi Fujima, Ryota Tomaru, and Yusuke Takeda from Elements Garden. The animation production is handled by Platinum Vision.

The story takes place at Gloria Private Academy, an elite school specializing in music, arts, and sports. In the music department, students inherit the talents and names of legendary composers. The plot follows Beethoven, a student who discovers his compatibility with the “Gift” of his namesake.
