As the WITCH WATCH anime prepares for its April 6, 2025, premiere, the official website has announced additional cast members. Nana Mizuki will voice Ibuki Wakatsuki, the mother of protagonist Nico, while Katsuyuki Konishi will portray Reiji Otogi, the father of Morihito. The series will be simulcast on Crunchyroll following its broadcast debut.

The anime is based on the manga by SKET Dance creator Kenta Shinohara. Hiroshi Ikehata (TONIKAWA: Over The Moon For You) directs the series at Bilbury Animation Studios. Deko Akao (The Case Study of Vanitas) handles series composition, while Haruko Iizuka (Horimiya) designs the characters. Music is composed by Yukari Hashimoto (A Sign of Affection).
Story Overview
Crunchyroll describes WITCH WATCH as a supernatural comedy following high school student Morihito Otogi, a descendant of ogres. His peaceful life is disrupted when his childhood friend, Nico, moves in with him. Nico, a witch-in-training, chooses Morihito as her familiar and hopes to rekindle their friendship. However, Morihito is also responsible for protecting her from a prophesied disaster. As Nico’s unpredictable magic leads to chaotic situations, the two must navigate both supernatural threats and the awkwardness of their new living arrangement.
WITCH WATCH is set to premiere in April 2025.
