New Orleans Pelicans forward Zion Williamson, known for his bold body art, has recently added another tattoo to his collection. After unveiling a massive full-back tattoo in November, Williamson now has an anime-inspired design over his bellybutton.
The new ink is a four-symbols seal, inspired by the popular anime Naruto. In the series, the four-symbols seal is used to imprison powerful enemies or evil spirits within a target, such as a person or an object. The tattoo was shared on Instagram by Louisiana-based tattoo artist inkbynova.
At 24, Williamson has played in 21 games for the Pelicans this season. Despite dealing with recurring injuries that have sidelined him for significant stretches, when he’s on the court, he’s been a dominant force, averaging 24.2 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 4.7 assists per game.
