Details regarding the voice cast have not yet been revealed, but Warner Bros. Japan gave fans a sneak peek at the film during last July’s Anime Expo.

The movie is directed by Jumpei Mizusaki and Shinji Takagi, with a screenplay by Kazuki Nakashima. The character design is by Takashi Okazaki, and Yugo Kanno composed the film’s music. Kamikaze Douga handled the animation production.

Special features included with the physical and digital releases will be “Bringing Justice to Japan” and “Anime Action: Choreographing the Fights.” (Note: the digital version will not be available in Canada.)

Batman Ninja vs. Yakuza League has a runtime of 89 minutes and is rated PG-13 for some violence and language. The movie follows the visual style of its predecessor, which was praised for its unique take on the Batman character by a team of visionary Japanese animators.
