Kodansha USA Publishing releases the Medaka Kuroiwa manga both digitally and in print. The publisher describes the story as follows:
Mona is the most popular girl at school, and she knows it. She’s worked hard to make a strong debut in high school, but no matter what she does, she can’t seem to catch the attention of Medaka Kuroiwa, who remains completely indifferent to her charms. Medaka, raised in a temple and taught to avoid close relationships with women, is unmoved. The story follows their ongoing battle of wills.
Ran Kuze, known for Tokyo Ravens: Sword of Song, originally published Medaka Kuroiwa as a one-shot in Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine in December 2020. The full serialization began in May 2021. Kodansha released the manga’s first volume in Japan in August 2021, and its 16th volume shipped on October 17.
