After five years since its debut, MAPPA’s hit anime Dorohedoro has confirmed the release window for its long-awaited Season 2. The series will return in 2025, accompanied by a new official visual and staff announcements.
The update, shared through the official website, marks the fifth anniversary of the anime’s original airing on January 12, 2020. “To celebrate the fifth anniversary, we are excited to unveil the second teaser visual for the upcoming sequel,” the announcement stated. The newly released visual features vibrant storyboards and confirms that director Yuichiro Hayashi and the MAPPA studio will be returning for the sequel.
