The highly anticipated anime I Want to Escape from Princess Lessons has released its opening and ending song videos, offering fans a first glimpse of the show’s musical sequences. The creditless versions of the opening, titled “Kimi to shika Koishinai” by Jun Fukuyama, and the ending, “Alibi na Curtsy” by DIALOGUE+, are now available for viewing.

Based on the light novels by Izumi Sawano and Miru Yumezaki, I Want to Escape from Princess Lessons is directed by Shinobu Tagashira, known for his work on Diabolik Lovers and Junji Ito Collection. Tagashira also provides the character designs, with Tomoko Kanemaki, famed for her Kingdom Hearts manga work, serving as series composer. The anime is produced by studio EMT Squared.

Leticia Dorman, the daughter of a duke, has long been engaged to Crown Prince Clarke. Although betrothed since childhood and groomed to be queen, Leticia has always hoped her prince would eventually fall for someone else. When Clarke arrives at a ball with another woman, Leticia seizes the opportunity to retreat to the countryside and begin a new chapter in her life. However, Clarke is determined to win her heart, leading to a new and unexpected romance.
