The popular manga Solo Camping for Two by Yudai Debata is set to receive a TV anime adaptation, with the series scheduled to begin airing in July on TOKYO MX.
The anime will be produced by SynergySP, with Jun Hatori serving as the director. Aya Satsuki will handle the series composition, while Mitsuho Seta and Ouka Tanizaki will co-write the script. The music for the series will be composed by Shota Kowashi.
The cast has been officially revealed, with Daiki Hamano voicing the protagonist, Gen Kinokura, and Mizuki Niizaki lending her voice to Shizuku Kusano.
The story centers on Gen Kinokura, a 34-year-old man who enjoys the peaceful solitude of camping. Though he prefers to camp alone, his life takes an unexpected turn when he meets 20-year-old Shizuku Kusano. The two end up camping together, embarking on a unique and heartwarming journey.
Fans of the manga can look forward to the anime’s upcoming release later this year.
