The highly anticipated anime Uma Musume: Cinderella Gray is set to debut this April, with a new teaser trailer released to excite fans. The trailer not only reveals the upcoming release window but also confirms the involvement of renowned composer Kenji Kawai, famous for his work on Ghost in the Shell, who will provide the series’ soundtrack.
The anime, produced by Cygames, will run for two cours, with a scheduled break in between. Cinderella Gray is co-directed by Takehiro Miura and Yuki Ito. Miura, known for his role as animation director on Fate/Apocrypha and Pokémon the Movie: The Power of Us, brings his experience to the project. Ito, an accomplished animation director on shows like Backflip!! and The Elusive Samurai, also joins the directorial team.
The teaser trailer also introduces several new cast members who will voice key characters in the series:

Based on the story of the real-life racehorse Oguri Cap, Cinderella Gray is the latest addition to the Uma Musume franchise, which has garnered significant attention for its unique combination of anthropomorphized horse girls and competitive racing themes. The series continues to build anticipation as it prepares to bring the world of Uma Musume to the small screen once again.
