The highly anticipated second season of My Happy Marriage has unveiled its main anime trailer, along with a preview of Episode 1 (Episode 14 overall), ahead of the season’s premiere on January 6, 2024. Studio Kinema Citrus, known for its work on the first season, is returning to animate the new episodes. Netflix will be streaming the series worldwide, continuing its global reach for the popular anime.
The newly released trailer features the opening theme “A Happy Promise” by Riria, which also played a key role in the promotional material for the first season. Fans can hear Haruka Tomatsu’s voice as Kaoruko Jinnochi, a new addition to the voice cast, who makes her debut in the trailer.
My Happy Marriage Season 2 – Episode 14 Preview
The preview of Episode 14 sets the stage for another emotional and action-packed chapter in the series. The episode focuses on Miyo, who is still struggling to control her “Power of Dreams.” As she works under the guidance of Arata to sharpen her supernatural abilities and receives etiquette training from Hazuki, Miyo strives to become a worthy fiancée for Kiyoka.

The first season of My Happy Marriage aired for 12 episodes between July and September 2023, garnering a dedicated following. Following the finale, the announcement for a second season came quickly. An OVA episode, Episode 13, was released on Netflix on November 22, 2024. Originally published on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website, the series was later acquired by Fujimi L Bunko in 2019 and is illustrated by Tsukiho Tsukioka. A manga adaptation, illustrated by Rito Kohsaka, is also available. In addition to the anime and manga, the My Happy Marriage franchise expanded with a live-action film adaptation, which premiered in March 2023.
The English-language rights to the light novel were licensed by Yen Press, while the manga is published by Square Enix.
