The Season 1 finale, Episode 12, wrapped up with a combination of high tension and narrative setup, leaving viewers eager for the continuation of the story. In the final moments, characters Okarun and Gigi discover a room filled with protective talismans inside Gigi’s home. This scene offers a strong hint of a deeper connection to the supernatural events that have been central to the series.
Meanwhile, Momo, a central character, takes a brief respite at a hot spring but is soon interrupted by the appearance of a mysterious figure, setting the stage for future developments.
The official key visual for Dandadan Season 2, which features Gigi under the ominous gaze of the Jashiki eye, has also been revealed. For fans of the manga, this visual is filled with heavy foreshadowing, as the upcoming arcs are known for their darker and more intense themes.
Dandadan, the anime adaptation of Yukinobu Tatsu’s popular manga, has been serialized on Shonen Jump+ since April 2021. The anime is produced by Science SARU, and the first season is currently streaming on Crunchyroll. The series follows high schooler Momo, who hails from a family of spirit mediums, and her classmate Okarun, an occult enthusiast. The two initially clash over their differing beliefs—Momo believes in ghosts but not aliens, while Okarun is convinced aliens exist but denies ghosts. However, when both phenomena prove to be real, Momo discovers a hidden power, and Okarun gains a cursed ability. Together, they must confront the paranormal forces threatening their world.
