Mono TV Anime Releases Fourth Character Visual and Trailer Featuring Haruno Akiyama

The highly anticipated Mono TV anime has unveiled its fourth character visual and a new promotional trailer, spotlighting the manga artist Haruno Akiyama. The series is set to premiere in Japan sometime in 2025.

The Mono anime is being directed by Ryota Aikei, known for his work as assistant director on Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2. Takuya Miyahara (Frederica Opening Movie, Shikimori’s Not Just A Cutie) serves as the character designer, while Yoko Yonaiyama (A Sign of Affection) handles the series composition. Animation production is being managed by Soigne.

Origin of Mono

The Mono anime is adapted from the original 4-koma manga series written and illustrated by Afro, the creator of Laid-Back Camp. The manga began serialization in Houbunsha’s Manga Time Kirara Miracle! magazine on May 16, 2017, before transitioning to Manga Time Kirara Carat on December 28, 2017. As of April 2024, four collected volumes (tankōbon) have been released in Japan.
