The official website for the live-action adaptation of My Tiny Senpai (Uchi no Kaisha no Chiisai Sempai no Hanashi) revealed several new cast members on Friday. The series, based on the popular manga by Saisou, is set to premiere on January 15, 2025, and will air in the “Suiyō Drama 23” (Wed. Drama 11:00 p.m.) time slot.

The series will be led by model and idol Tōmi, known for her work with the #2i2 idol group, who will portray Shiori Katase, a charming, short, and well-endowed superior at the office.

My Tiny Senpai is an office romantic comedy that follows Takuma Shinozaki, a new employee, and his interactions with his superior, Shiori Katase, who is known for her nurturing attitude toward her colleagues. The adaptation is directed and written by Masashi Komura, best known for his work on the live-action Kariage-kun, alongside Hikaru Nishiguchi. The series is produced by BS Shochiku Tokyu and Lepro Entertainment.
Manga and Anime Background
The My Tiny Senpai manga, which first debuted on Takeshobo’s Storia Dash web platform in April 2020, has received widespread acclaim. The seventh volume of the manga is slated for release on August 17, 2025. In addition to the live-action series, the manga inspired a television anime that premiered in July 2023. Crunchyroll streamed the anime as it aired in Japan, offering both subtitles and an English dub.
