The upcoming Okitsura anime has unveiled a brand-new trailer and key visual ahead of its highly anticipated premiere. The series, which will be simulcast on Crunchyroll, is set to debut on Japanese television and streaming platforms on January 4, 2025, at 25:00 (effectively January 5 at 1:00 AM).

The anime is based on the web manga by Egumi Sora, with direction by Shingo Tanabe under the supervision of Shin Itagaki at studio Millepensee. Both Tanabe and Itagaki are responsible for the series composition. Tomohiro Yoshida provides the character designs, and the music is composed by Tomohisa Ishikawa, Yoshimi Katayama, and Ayana Kinjo.
Synopsis: The story follows Teruaki Nakamura, who transfers to Okinawa and falls in love with a local girl. However, he struggles to understand her dialect. Fortunately, Higa-san is always there to help him with translations, setting the stage for a cross-cultural romance with a unique twist on the southern island.
