A new teaser trailer for Detective Conan Movie 28: One-Eyed Flashback has been released, offering fans a glimpse of the highly anticipated anime film. Scheduled to premiere in Japan on April 18, 2025, the movie will be produced by TMS Entertainment, continuing the franchise’s legacy of thrilling cinematic mysteries.
Teaser Trailer and Movie Details
The announcement of the movie came with the release of a teaser visual, which fans can view below. The trailer introduces a tense and gripping story set in the snowy mountains of Nagano Prefecture, Japan, where a dangerous incident triggers a cascade of events that will shape the film’s plot.
Plot Synopsis
The story begins with Yamada Kanzuke, a police officer from the Nagano Prefectural Police, who is chasing a suspect in the Yatsugatake mountain range. His pursuit takes a dark turn when his vision is suddenly obscured by the shadow of an unknown figure. In the chaos that follows, a flare-like projectile blinds Kanzuke in one eye, and a massive avalanche buries him under the snow.
Ten months later, Yui Uehara, a researcher from the National Astronomical Observatory’s Tenma Station, receives a report of an attack at the observatory. She races to the site, only to find that Kanzuke—miraculously alive after the avalanche—is suffering from intense pain in his injured eye.
As the investigation progresses, Kogoro Mori receives a call from Wani, a former police officer and an old colleague. Wani claims to be investigating the avalanche incident and seeks Kogoro’s involvement. As Kogoro and Conan travel to meet Wani and Kanzuke, a gunshot rings out, leading them further into a complex mystery.
