Toei Animation and Crunchyroll have officially unveiled the English dub cast for the highly anticipated Dragon Ball Daima anime, with the series set to premiere on Crunchyroll on January 10. The streaming service will release new dubbed episodes weekly across the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa.
The English dub features a star-studded cast, including the return of Stephanie Nadolny as the voice of young Goku, reprising her iconic role from the original Dragon Ball series. Alongside Nadolny, several other notable voice actors will bring their talents to the series.

The English dub will be directed by Jonathan Rigg, with Samantha Herek serving as the producer. The script is being written by Jarrod Greene, while Gino Palancia is the ADR mixer and Jameson Outlaw is the ADR engineer.
The Series’ Global Premiere and Background
Dragon Ball Daima made its world premiere in U.S. theaters on November 10-12 through a special screening hosted by Toei Animation and Fathom Events. The anime first aired in Japan on October 11, as part of a new anime programming block on Fuji-TV. Following its Japanese broadcast, Dragon Ball Daima was made available on Crunchyroll, with Netflix also streaming the series in select regions. The anime debuted globally on October 18.
The story of Dragon Ball Daima takes a unique approach by reverting iconic characters like Goku, Vegeta, and Bulma to their younger selves, but this time with a different twist from the previous Dragon Ball GT series. The plot introduces a new dynamic that explores the characters’ adventures in their miniaturized forms, setting it apart from past series.
Creative Team and Music
Yoshitaka Yashima, known for his work on Dragon Ball Super and the Digimon franchise, serves as the animation director. Aya Komaki, famed for his role as a series director on One Piece, is directing alongside Yashima. Katsuyoshi Nakatsuru, a veteran of Dragon Ball Z and the Digimon series, is adapting Akira Toriyama’s character designs for animation, while Yuuko Kakihara, renowned for her work on the Digimon Adventure tri. films and Cells at Work!, is supervising and writing the series scripts.
The anime’s theme songs are being performed by popular artists: Zedd, in collaboration with C&K, performs the opening theme, “Jaka Jaan,” while Zedd and Ai team up for the ending theme, “Nakama” (Companions), which Zedd specifically composed for the anime.
