Frontwing has officially confirmed that the highly anticipated Grisaia: Phantom Trigger TV anime will debut on January 1, 2025. The announcement was accompanied by the release of the creditless opening movie, revealing the anime’s opening and ending theme songs.
Mao Uesugi will perform the opening theme, titled “Zero Ignition,” while Yoshino Nanjō is set to perform the ending theme, “Dandelion.” Both songs were showcased in the opening movie, giving fans a glimpse of what to expect.
The anime will air on Tokyo MX and BS NTV channels at 25:00 JST, which translates to 1:00 a.m. JST on January 2. Following the premiere, new episodes will be released every subsequent week at 12:00 a.m. JST.
Kōsuke Murayama is directing the series, with Bibury Animation Studio, Frontwing, and WOWMAX returning as the production teams. Akio Watanabe serves as the character designer and chief animation director, while Hitoshi Fujima and Yūsuke Takeda of Elements Garden will compose the anime’s music, alongside Fuminori Matsumoto.

Additionally, Grisaia: Phantom Trigger has expanded its universe with the release of a mobile game spin-off, Grisaia Chronos Rebellion, which launched on July 27, 2023, for PC via Steam. The game, featuring all the girls from the Grisaia: Phantom Trigger series, is available in both English and Japanese, with Japanese voice-overs.
The Grisaia: Phantom Trigger series continues to grow with the digital release of Grisaia: Phantom Trigger 5.5 to 08 for Nintendo Switch on June 29, 2023. The most recent mainline entry, Grisaia: Phantom Trigger 08, was released individually in the West on February 24, 2023, also for Nintendo Switch.
