The official website for the upcoming Clevatess anime has revealed a 2025 release date, along with a new key visual and additional casting details. The dark fantasy adaptation, based on the manga by Yuji Iwahara (Dimension W), is slated to premiere next year.
New Cast Members Revealed
Joining the previously announced voice cast are Saya Aizawa (known for her role as Norn in Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation), who will voice the character of baby Luna. She will be joined by Haruka Shiraishi as Alicia, Mutsumi Tamura as Clen, and Yuichi Nakamura as the titular Demon King, Clevatess.
The cast update was shared alongside a dramatic new key visual, showcasing the anime’s richly designed characters and dark, fantasy world.
Production Team Details
Kiyotaka Taguchi (director of Gleipnir) is helming the Clevatess anime at Studio Lay-duce. The series will feature composition by Keigo Koyanagi (The Rising of the Shield Hero) and character designs by Soichiro Sako (Buddy Daddies). The music for the anime will be composed by Nobuaki Nobusawa (Steins;Gate 0).
Plot Overview
The story of Clevatess revolves around the Demon King, Clevatess, who is being relentlessly hunted by 13 heroes. Among them is Alicia, a young woman who has dreamed of becoming a hero since childhood. When the heroes attempt to slay the Demon King, their actions inadvertently bring further turmoil to the human world. In a desperate bid to save humanity, the heroes must place their trust in Clevatess and a mysterious baby, Luna, as the only hope for peace.
