The highly anticipated anime adaptation of Hiromasa Okujima’s Babanbabanban Vampire, a BL (Blood Love-Comedy) manga, has announced its premiere date. The series is set to debut in Japan on January 11, 2025, with Netflix planning to stream it globally.
The animeâs official visual, which includes the English logo, was also revealed to give fans a glimpse of what’s to come. Additionally, two new cast members were announced: Katsuyuki Konishi will voice Umetaro Sakamoto, while Akira Sekine will portray Kaori Yamaba.
Babanbabanban Vampire follows the story of Ranmaru Mori, a 450-year-old vampire working as a live-in part-timer at a public bathhouse. In his search for the ultimate tasteââthe blood of an 18-year-old virginââRanmaru is tasked with protecting Rihito, the bathhouseâs only son, from losing his virginity. However, Rihito complicates Ranmaruâs mission when he falls in love with a classmate, setting off a chain of events that pushes the vampire to new levels of desperation.
Earlier promotional materials, including a trailer, have already been released, fueling excitement for the series. As the premiere draws closer, Babanbabanban Vampire promises to bring a unique blend of romance, comedy, and supernatural drama to anime fans worldwide.
