Anime Series I Have a Crush at Work Unveils Second Trailer and January Premiere Date

The eagerly anticipated anime I Have a Crush at Work has revealed its second official trailer along with a confirmed premiere date of January 6, 2025. The romantic comedy, produced by Studio BLADE, will be directed by Naoko Takeichi.

The anime’s first teaser trailer was unveiled in September, with the new trailer offering a fresh glimpse into the series’ storyline. Fans can also enjoy the trailer’s opening theme, “Ano ne,” performed by POLKADOT STINGRAY, and the ending theme “Futarijime,” by pachae.

I Have a Crush at Work is based on the manga Can You Keep a Secret?, written and illustrated by Akamaru Enomoto. Serialized in Kodansha’s Morning magazine from March 2019 to January 2023, the manga spans 15 volumes. Kodansha USA is currently publishing the English-language version.

The story revolves around two office workers, Yui Mitsuya and Masugu Tateishi, who secretly harbor feelings for each other. Despite their mutual attraction, they try to keep their relationship under wraps to avoid office awkwardness. However, their growing feelings often make it difficult to maintain the facade.

With its blend of romantic tension and comedic moments, I Have a Crush at Work is shaping up to be a standout series in the upcoming anime season.
