Sequel to 13th Precure series to feature new opening and ending songs.The official website for Maho Tsukai Precure!! ~ MIRAI DAYS~, the sequel to the 13th Precure series Witchy Precure! (known in Japan as Maho Tsukai Precure! / Maho Girls Precure!), has released a new trailer showcasing the upcoming series. The trailer highlights the opening theme song, “Dokkin♢Mahou Tsukai PreCure!! Part 3 ~MIRAI DAYS,” performed by Rie Kitagawa, who also sang the opening themes for the original series. Kitagawa previously performed “Dokkin♢Mahou Tsukai PreCure!” in two versions—one for the first half and another for the second half of the original series. This updated version, “Part 3 ~MIRAI DAYS,” marks a new chapter for the beloved magical girls.
In addition to the opening theme, the anime will feature an ending song, “Kisekira Link,” performed by the three main characters: Cure Miracle (voiced by Rie Takahashi), Cure Magical (voiced by Yui Horie), and Cure Felice (voiced by Saori Hayami).
Plot Synopsis and New Challenges
The Maho Tsukai Precure!! ~ MIRAI DAYS~ sequel follows the story of Mirai and her friends, who have now embarked on different paths following their reunion years after their first adventure. Mirai is a university student in the No Magic Realm, while Riko returns to the Magic World to teach at a magic school. Mofurun stays by Mirai’s side, and Ha-chan observes the world from a distance. However, a new disaster threatens both the Magic World and the No Magic Realm, bringing Mirai and Riko back together as they confront new enemies and unresolved challenges from their past and future.
A digital version of the TV-size “Dokkin♢Mahou Tsukai PreCure!! Part 3 ~MIRAI DAYS” is available for streaming and download now, with the CD single set for release on February 5, 2025.
Premiere Date and Returning Cast
Maho Tsukai Precure!! ~ MIRAI DAYS~ will premiere on January 11, 2025, airing on ABC TV and TV Asahi’s midnight programming block ANiMAZiNG!!! The series will bring back the original voice cast, including Rie Takahashi as Mirai Asahina / Cure Miracle, Yui Horie as Riko Izayoi / Cure Magical, Saori Hayami as Ha-chan / Cure Felice, and Ayaka Saito as Mofurun. Additionally, Hayami will voice Hisui, a mysterious new character featured in the trailer.
