A television anime adaptation of The Case Book of Arne has been officially confirmed. The upcoming series will be based on a mystery adventure game created by developer HARUMURASAKI and published by Vaka Game Magazine.
Details about the anime remain limited at this time, but it has been confirmed that Murasaki, the original story writer of the game, will contribute to the series’ screenplay. Additionally, Harutarou, the game’s original character designer, will be responsible for providing the character designs for the anime.
A teaser key art for the series has also been unveiled, generating excitement among fans ahead of its debut.
Plot Overview
The story of The Case Book of Arne follows Arne Neuntöte, a vampire detective with the ability to harness supernatural powers. Arne crosses paths with Lynn Reinweiß, a noblewoman fascinated by vampires. Their worlds, seemingly incompatible, collide when the two join forces to unravel a dark and bloody mystery.
Lynn’s life takes a dramatic turn when she finds herself in desperate need of help and stumbles into the eerie city of Lügenberg, a place inhabited by non-human beings. Here, she encounters Arne, a vampire notorious for his ominous reputation.
As the city becomes the backdrop for a chilling murder investigation, Lynn and Arne uncover the truth behind a series of strange incidents, revealing the tense intersection of the human world and the supernatural.
In this world of shadows, where vampires and humans coexist, the mystery deepens, and a new murder case sets the stage for a thrilling adventure under the “crimson moon.”
