The highly anticipated film Haikyu!!: The Dumpster Battle will officially begin streaming on Crunchyroll on October 31 at 5:00 p.m. PT. Following its successful premiere in Japan on February 16, the film has already achieved one of the largest opening weekends in the country’s cinematic history. The Blu-ray and DVD versions of the movie will also be released today.
The movie will be available to audiences across North America, Central America, South America, Europe (excluding France), Africa (excluding Southern Africa), Oceania, the Middle East, and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). Viewers can enjoy the film in multiple languages, with both subbed and dubbed options available, including:

Haikyu!!: The Dumpster Battle marks the first of two concluding films in the Haikyu!! franchise. The story focuses on the third-round nationals match between Karasuno High and Nekoma High, famously dubbed the “Dumpster Battle.” The film features Shoyo Hinata and Tobio Kageyama leading Karasuno, while Kenma Kozume and Tetsuro Kuroo present formidable challenges on the opposing side.

Production I.G, the animation studio responsible for both the movie and the television series, first introduced the Haikyu!! anime in 2014. The subsequent seasons aired from 2015 to 2020, covering various key matches, including the iconic Karasuno versus Shiratorizawa face-off in Season 3. The franchise has also expanded to include recap films, original video animations (OVAs), side stories, stage plays, and video games.
In addition to its release on Crunchyroll, Haikyu!!: The Dumpster Battle will also be available on Netflix starting October 31 in select regions across Asia.
