The upcoming anime adaptation of Grisaia: Phantom Trigger has officially released its first trailer, confirming a premiere date in January 2025. Produced by Bibury Animation Studios, the series is directed by Kosuke Murayama. The announcement of the TV adaptation dates back to February 2022.

In addition to Murayama, the production team for Grisaia: Phantom Trigger includes Akio Watanabe as character designer and chief animation director. The music for the anime will be composed by Hitoshi Fujima, Yusuke Takeda, and Fuminori Matsumoto, with Frontwing and WOWMAX collaborating on production efforts.

The Fruit of Grisaia, the original Japanese visual novel series developed by Frontwing, debuted in 2011, showcasing character designs by Akio Watanabe and Fumio. The series encompasses three games, which were licensed and published in English by Sekai Project in 2015.
In addition to the upcoming series, The Fruit of Grisaia has been adapted into various formats, including a 13-episode anime series by studio 8bit in 2014, followed by adaptations of the sequels, The Labyrinth of Grisaia and The Eden of Grisaia, in 2015. A movie adaptation of Grisaia: Phantom Trigger premiered in 2019, with its sequel, Grisaia: Phantom Trigger the Animation Stargazer, released in 2020, both animated by Bibury Animation Studios.
