ODEX has officially announced that the anime film Trapezium will be released in theaters across Malaysia, Singapore, and Laos on September 19. The movie initially premiered in Japan on May 10 and is an adaptation of the novel by former Nogizaka46 member Kazumi Takayama. The story centers around Yu Azuma, a high school student with dreams of becoming an idol, who imposes four strict conditions on herself to achieve her goal.
Takayama’s novel was serialized in KADOKAWA’s Da Vinci magazine from 2016 to 2018, and later compiled into a bunkoban version featuring illustrations by Tae, released in 2018.
The theme song for the movie, titled “Nanmonai,” is performed by MAISONdes featuring Hoshimachi Suisei and sakuma.
