The highly anticipated TV anime adaptation of the educational comic series “Kagaku Manga Survival” has set its premiere date for October 5, 2024, at 18:25 JST, as confirmed by the series’ official website and social media accounts. The anime will explore seven diverse survival themes, each offering a unique educational experience:
- Extreme Weather Survival
- Insect World Survival
- New Virus Survival
- Antarctic Survival
- Artificial Intelligence Survival
- Dinosaur World Survival
- Energy Crisis Survival
Known in Japan as “Kagaku Manga Survival,” the series is the brainchild of creators Gomdori Co and Han Hyun-Dong. It is published in South Korea by Mirae N Co., Ltd., and in Japan by Asahi Shimbun Publications. The English-translated volumes, titled “Survive! Inside the Human Body,” have also gained attention. Notably, the series was previously adapted into a theatrical anime film in 2020.
The upcoming series, titled “Kagaku x Bouken Survival!” (“Science x Adventure Survival!”), is directed by Masahiro Hosoda, renowned for his work on “Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods.” The show is produced by Studio Gallop, with series composition by Isao Murayama, character designs by Noh Gil-bo, and music composed by Kei Yoshikawa, known for “Love of Kill.”
