The latest character trailer for the upcoming anime series Classic Stars has been released, focusing on the character of Liszt, voiced by Shoya Ishige, known for his role as Wakana Gojo in My Dress-Up Darling.
The trailer showcases Liszt, a character inspired by the famed classical composer, as part of the series’ ongoing promotional efforts. Classic Stars features a lineup of characters infused with the essence of classical music, highlighting the anime’s unique thematic focus.
Noriyasu Agematsu from Elements Garden is overseeing the project as the planner and executive producer. The series is directed by Hideaki Oba, recognized for his work on Love of Kill, with Shingo Nagai handling series composition and Yoko Sato designing the characters. Classic Stars is a collaborative effort between UNISON and King Records, with music by Elements Garden and animation by Platinum Vision.
The anime will also serve as the inaugural entry in the broader Classic Verse initiative, a project by UNISON aimed at producing various titles centered around classical music. An untitled isekai project, featuring reincarnated composers, is also in development under this initiative.
Classic Stars is slated for release in 2025.
