This new chapter, set on the planet Gunsmoke, reimagines the origin story of the Humanoid Typhoon and sets the stage for a sequel series that will serve as the climax of this remake. We recently spoke with the producers of “Trigun Stargaze” to learn more about the pivotal role of Yasuhiro Nightow, the creator of “Trigun,” in the upcoming series.
Producer Yoshihiro Watanabe shared insights into Nightow’s substantial involvement in “Stargaze,” revealing the challenges and anticipations faced by the team. “Uncertainty and concern have been constant companions throughout this project,” Watanabe admitted. “From the very beginning, we grappled with these feelings, but they have never completely dissipated. Despite this, we are eagerly anticipating the fans’ reactions. Their positive feedback has been a significant encouragement for us. As for Yasuhiro Nightow, his support has been unwavering and even more pronounced with ‘Stargaze.'”
