Sony has introduced a new line of headphones in collaboration with the popular anime and manga series One Piece, showcasing protagonist Luffy and other beloved characters. These limited-edition headsets are now available for pre-order and will hit stores on August 12, 2024.
The collection includes two models: the WH-1000XM5/OP, an over-ear wireless noise-cancelling stereo headset, priced at 60,400 yen (approximately $X). This model features a design with Luffy’s image on the left ear cup and the iconic Straw Hat Pirates’ skull logo on the right.
Additionally, the WF-C700N/OP in-ear headphones are available at 17,500 yen (~$X). These come in three color options—blue, green, and white—and each pair highlights the Jolly Roger skull mark representing Luffy, Zoro, or Sanji, offering a total of nine unique variations.
For those interested, the new One Piece Sony headsets can be previewed on the Sony official website.
This collaboration follows closely on the heels of another recent partnership between One Piece and Lacoste, which launched a line of clothing on August 2, 2024, featuring illustrations by One Piece creator Eiichiro Oda.
The One Piece Sony headphones are expected to begin shipping by August 16, 2024, with retail availability starting August 12. Fans can pre-order now through the Sony website.
