The highly anticipated Wind Breaker Season 2 is set to premiere on April 3, and new preview images along with staff details for Episode 1 have been revealed. The episode, titled “Anger,” will be available for streaming on Crunchyroll with English subtitles.

The new season picks up immediately with high-intensity action. Sakura and his team head to the KEEL hideout to rescue Masaki Anzai’s childhood friend. However, they soon face KEEL’s leader, Shingo Natori (voiced by Junya Enoki), who is ready to confront them with full force.
Returning for Season 2, Toshifumi Akai continues as director, with CloverWorks handling animation production. Hiroshi Seko (Chainsaw Man) is once again overseeing series composition, while Ryou Takahashi returns as music composer. Character designer Taishi Kawakami and action director Kazuyuki Asaka are also reprising their roles.
Wind Breaker is adapted from the manga by Satoru Nii, which has been serialized on Magazine Pocket since January 2021. The series currently has 17 volumes, with Kodansha USA publishing the English version. The first five volumes are available in print, while the first 14 are accessible digitally.
Wind Breaker Season 2 premieres on April 3, 2025.
