The upcoming anime film Mirage QUEEN Elegant Vacations (Kaitou Queen no Yuuga na Vacances) has released its main trailer. This is the second adaptation of Kaoru Hayamine’s Kaito Queen novel series, following the 2022 film Mirage Queen Loves the Circus.
The film’s official X account also shared a key visual featuring Mirage Queen and other main characters. The trailer highlights the theme song Queen’s Illusion, performed by Anipani, a unit featuring Rinu (Strawberry Prince), Vau (KnightA), and Tigusakun (AMPTAKxCOLORS).
Returning cast members include Yuya Hirose as reporter Kotaro Saionji and Ayaka Shimizu as Mari Ito. Mitsuaki Hoshino voices Satchmo, Queen’s rival, and Junichi Suwabe narrates. Former Takarazuka star Yuga Yamato reprises the lead role. Shigetaka Ikeda (Future Card Buddyfight) directs, replacing Saori Den.
Set for release in Japan on May 23, 2025, the film follows master thief Mirage Queen as they accept a challenge from rival Satchmo Wilson to steal the Imperial Sapphire. However, the challenge is a trap, and assassins lurk on the Caribbean luxury liner Royal Satchmo. As chaos unfolds, Mirage Queen must outmaneuver their enemies. But for Queen, nothing is impossible.
