The show focuses on smaller-scale moments, with the heroes shrinking in size and their power levels taking a dip—at least initially. Goku, Vegeta, Bulma, Shin, and Piccolo are also separated from the rest of the Z Fighters. This shift allows Dragon Ball DAIMA to explore the smaller, subtler details that could have big implications down the line.
One such moment in Episode 14, titled “Taboo,” could have a significant impact on the series’ ultimate storyline.
In the episode, Arinsu appears to be working for the Demon King, but the show slowly reveals she has her own hidden agenda. She has been planning to overthrow the throne all along. At the center of her plan are two new Majin creatures—Majin Kuu and Majin Duu—created by Marba, the same witch responsible for bringing Majin Buu to life under Bibidi’s orders. Arinsu intends to use these new minions to challenge Gomah and claim the throne for herself.
However, an unexpected interaction between Arinsu and Gohan’s strongest fighters could complicate matters when the time comes. This small, yet crucial moment hints at bigger stakes for the series’ future.
