It has been confirmed that The Otome Heroine’s Fight for Survival, a light novel series by Haruno Hibiyori and Yo Hitaki, will be adapted into a television anime.
At this time, there are no additional details regarding the release date, staff, or cast for the anime.
The light novel series, published by J-Novel Club, follows the story of Alicia, a young girl who is orphaned after a monster attack destroys her village. After spending three difficult years in an orphanage, Alicia escapes, only to have a violent encounter with a woman intent on killing her. During their struggle, Alicia touches a mysterious crystal that grants her vast knowledge, transforming her from an innocent child into a strategic thinker.
As Alicia learns that she is meant to be the protagonist of an otome game, she rejects this predetermined role. Disgusted by her fate, she vows to become strong on her own terms. Armed with her newfound knowledge and the help of a stranger she meets in the woods, Alicia begins to navigate a harsh world that is far too unforgiving for a girl her age. Determined to shape her own destiny, Alicia is ready to face whatever challenges come her way.
