The highly anticipated anime Zatsu Tabi: That’s Journey has released a new trailer, providing fresh insights into the upcoming series set to premiere in April 2025. The trailer not only introduces a preview of the opening theme song but also reveals additional cast members and behind-the-scenes staff.
The opening theme, “Tabi Shiyo! don’t you?”, will be performed by harmoe, while the ending theme, “bookmarks”, is by Sizuk. The new trailer gives fans a glimpse of the series’ energetic opening sequence, set to the upbeat opening track.
New Cast Members Revealed
The latest trailer also highlights two new cast additions: Satomi Sato will voice Fuyune Kojiya, and Yoko Hikasa will play Riri Tenkubashi. The anime’s previously announced cast includes:

Behind the Scenes
Zatsu Tabi: That’s Journey is being animated by Studio Makaria, known for their work on Dropkick on My Devil!!: End of Century Edition. The series will be directed by Masaharu Watanabe, best known for his direction of Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World. Yoshiko Nakamura is handling the series composition, while Rere is the character designer, and Yoshiaki Fujisawa will compose the music.
Manga and Story Overview
Based on the manga written and illustrated by Kenta Ishizaka, Zatsu Tabi: That’s Journey began serialization in March 2019 in Dengeki Maoh, a seinen magazine. The series currently has 11 volumes in circulation, with the 12th volume set to release on December 27, 2024.
The story follows Chika Suzugamori, an aspiring manga artist who faces constant rejection with each draft submission. On the brink of giving up, Chika experiences a sudden epiphany: she decides to embark on a journey that will not only inspire her artistically but also provide her with emotional healing. This quest leads her to create the ultimate travel comic, drawing from her own experiences along the way.
