During the action-packed Jump Festa 2025 event, a major announcement has surfaced for My Hero Academia fans: an anime adaptation of the My Hero Academia: Vigilantes spinoff manga will officially premiere in April 2025.
The anime is based on the My Hero Academia: Vigilantes manga series, which was written by Hideyuki Furuhashi and illustrated by Betten Court. The story, which ran from August 2016 to May 2022, concluded with 15 volumes. The adaptation promises to expand on the established My Hero Academia universe while introducing a fresh take on the heroes and anti-heroes of the world.
The anime will be directed by Kenichi Suzuki, who is known for his work on JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure. Yosuke Kuroda will handle series composition, while Takahiko Yoshida is in charge of character designs. BONES, the studio behind the main My Hero Academia anime, will continue to produce Vigilantes in tandem with the final season of the original series.
