Ahead of its highly anticipated premiere in January 2025, the anime adaptation of Magic Maker: Isekai Mahou no Tsukurikata (Magic Maker: How to Create Magic in Another World) has unveiled a new character visual for Marie. The character is voiced by Ai Kakuma, known for her role as Nefertima in Fluffy Paradise. This reveal adds to the growing excitement surrounding the upcoming fantasy series.
The new visual, shared via the anime’s official social media, showcases Marie, the outdoor-loving older sibling of the series’ protagonist, Sion. The show is set to air in Japan across multiple networks, including TV Tokyo, TV Osaka, BS Nippon TV, and AT-X, beginning in January 2025.

Directed by Kazuomi Koga, renowned for his work on Rent-a-Girlfriend, the series is produced by Studio DEEN. The anime’s composition is being handled by Keiichiro Ochi, who is known for his work on Go! Go! Loser Ranger!, while Takayuki Noguchi, who worked on The Greatest Demon Lord Is Reborn as a Typical Nobody, serves as the character designer. Music will be provided by Kei Yoshikawa and Kana Hashiguchi.
Story Overview
Based on the light novels by Kazuki Kaburagi and Kururi, Magic Maker: Isekai Mahou no Tsukurikata follows the journey of two siblings from a minor noble family. The elder sister, Marie, is adventurous and loves the outdoors, while her younger brother, Sion, is a shy bookworm with a deep fascination for magic. When Sion inquires about the existence of magic to their father, only to receive a baffling response, the siblings embark on an adventure of their own to uncover the secrets of magic.
