TO Books has announced that the popular web novel A Gentle Noble’s Vacation Recommendation by Misaki will be adapted into a TV anime series.
Originally debuting as a web novel on Shousetsuka ni Narou in 2014, A Gentle Noble’s Vacation Recommendation (Japanese title: Odayaka Kizoku no Kyuuka no Susume) transitioned into a light novel series published under the TO Books Novel imprint, with illustrations by Sando. The series, which has gained considerable popularity, will release its 19th volume on October 15, 2024.
The light novel has also inspired a manga adaptation, illustrated by Momochi and composed by Lamp Magonote, who previously collaborated with 8KEY.
The storyline follows Lizel, who unexpectedly finds himself in a city resembling his own but distinctly different. Embracing this bizarre situation, Lizel discovers he has entered an entirely new world. Rather than panicking, the easygoing noble decides to explore this unfamiliar territory. To assist him in his adventures, he enlists the help of Gil, a seasoned adventurer who serves as both his tour guide and protector.
As Lizel embarks on this journey, he views it as a perfect opportunity to enjoy life as an adventurer with a guild, all the while believing he will eventually find a way back home.
